Indication

Treatment of susceptible urinary-tract and selected gonococcal infections when specifically prescribed.

Ingredients

• Norfloxacin 400 mg

Direction

For oral use. Take only as prescribed with a full glass of water. The carton says not to take it with milk or dairy products.

Side effects

• Nausea
• diarrhea
• abdominal discomfort
• dizziness
• or headache may occur. Stop and seek prompt care for tendon pain
• numbness or tingling
• severe allergy
• marked mood or neurologic changes
• abnormal heartbeat
• or severe diarrhea.

Precautions

• Prescription fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Discuss pregnancy
• kidney disease
• heart
• rhythm problems
• tendon disorders
• nerve symptoms
• myasthenia gravis
• and all medicines or mineral supplements with the prescriber.
