Leflox 500 mg

Indication

For physician-directed treatment of susceptible bacterial infections in adults, including certain pneumonia, skin, urinary tract, kidney, prostate, bronchitis, and sinus infections.

Ingredients

• Levofloxacin 500 mg

Direction

Prescription medicine. Take exactly as directed by the physician and complete the prescribed course. Swallow with water and follow the leaflet regarding separation from antacids, iron, calcium, or zinc products.

Side effects

• Nausea
• diarrhea
• headache
• dizziness
• or insomnia may occur.
• Serious effects can include tendon inflammation or rupture
• peripheral neuropathy
• central nervous system effects
• or severe allergy.

Precautions

• Stop treatment and seek medical advice promptly for tendon pain
• numbness or tingling
• severe mood or neurologic symptoms
• or an allergic reaction.
• Avoid in people with myasthenia gravis unless specifically prescribed
• kidney impairment may require dose adjustment.
