Indication

Prevention and chronic treatment of asthma, prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and relief of allergic rhinitis when alternatives are inadequate or not tolerated.

Ingredients

• Montelukast sodium equivalent to montelukast 10 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 15 years and older: take one 10 mg tablet once daily; for asthma take in the evening. Use only as prescribed and do not use for an acute asthma attack.

Side effects

• abdominal pain
• fever
• cough
• or diarrhea may occur.

Precautions

• Serious mood
• behavior
• or sleep changes can occur
• stop and contact a clinician immediately if these appear. Keep rescue medicine available for acute asthma.
