Indication

Short-term symptomatic treatment of dry, non-productive cough in adults when prescribed.

Ingredients

• Codeine phosphate hemihydrate 19.5 mg (equivalent to codeine 15.22 mg)

Direction

Use only at the dose and duration prescribed by a physician; swallow by mouth. Do not increase the dose or extend treatment.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dizziness
• nausea
• vomiting and constipation may occur. Slow or difficult breathing
• severe sleepiness or allergy requires urgent care.

Precautions

• Prescription opioid: risk of dependence and dangerous respiratory depression. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• avoid alcohol
• driving
• sedatives and other opioid medicines. Never share.
