Indication

Replacement of water and electrolytes lost through diarrhea and vomiting.

Ingredients

• Sodium chloride 2.60 g
• Potassium chloride 1.50 g
• Sodium citrate 2.90 g
• Anhydrous glucose 13.50 g

Direction

Dissolve the entire sachet in exactly 1 litre of safe drinking water and mix well. Give frequent small amounts and use within 24 hours.

Side effects

• Nausea or vomiting may occur if taken too quickly
• incorrect mixing can disturb electrolytes.

Precautions

• Use exactly 1 litre of water
• do not add sugar or medicine. Seek urgent care for severe dehydration

• blood in stool
