Colicaid 40 mg/mL

Indication

Relief of infant colic, gripping abdominal pain, and gas.

Ingredients

• Simethicone 40 mg per mL
• Dill oil 0.005 mL per mL
• Fennel oil 0.0007 mL per mL

Direction

Shake well. Using the supplied dropper, give 5–10 drops four times daily below 6 months, 10–20 drops four times daily at 6–12 months, or 20–25 drops four times daily over 1 year, 15 minutes before feeding, unless a physician directs otherwise.

Precautions

• Use the calibrated dropper. Consult a clinician before use in young infants and seek urgent care for persistent severe pain

• fever
• swollen abdomen
• blood in stool
• poor feeding
• or lethargy.
