Indication
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Acid-related dyspepsia - Heartburn and acid regurgitation - H. pylori eradication in combination therapy
Ingredients
- Omeprazole
Direction
Take orally once daily, preferably in the morning at least 30 minutes before a meal. Swallow the capsule whole without crushing or chewing.
Side effects
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Nausea or vomiting
- Flatulence
- Constipation
Precautions
- May mask symptoms of gastric malignancy
- Long
- term use risk of osteoporosis
- Monitor for hypomagnesemia in chronic use
- Adjust dose for severe hepatic impairment
- Pregnancy and lactation medical consultation required
