Indication
- Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Heartburn and acid regurgitation - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - H. pylori eradication with antibiotics
Ingredients
- Omeprazole
Direction
Swallow the capsule whole with water 30-60 minutes before a meal, preferably in the morning. Do not crush or chew the capsule.
Side effects
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Nausea and vomiting
- Flatulence
Precautions
- Exclude malignancy before starting treatment
- Long
- term use may cause fractures
- Monitor magnesium levels during long
- term use
- May cause Vitamin B12 deficiency
