Indication
Adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes when prescribed.
Ingredients
- Sitagliptin 50 mg
- Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg
Direction
Take with meals exactly as prescribed by a doctor; swallow with water.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- nausea
- abdominal discomfort
- headache
- low blood sugar with some other medicines
- or rare lactic acidosis may occur.
Precautions
- Prescription use only. Tell the doctor about kidney
- liver
- or pancreatic disease
- seek urgent care for severe weakness
- breathing difficulty
- or persistent abdominal pain.
