Diamicron MR 60 mg

Indication

For adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet, exercise, and weight reduction alone do not adequately control blood glucose.

Ingredients

• Gliclazide 60 mg

Direction

Use only as prescribed. Take the prescribed dose once daily at breakfast. Swallow a whole tablet or an equal half without chewing or crushing.

Side effects

• Hypoglycemia may occur
• especially if meals are skipped.
• Nausea
• abdominal discomfort
• diarrhea
• constipation
• rash
• or allergic reactions may occur.

Precautions

• Maintain regular meals and monitor blood glucose. Do not use for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
• Tell the prescriber about kidney or liver disease
• pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• sulfonylurea allergy
• and all other medicines.
