Indication

For the treatment of hypertension; a prescriber may also use losartan for selected patients with diabetic kidney disease or left ventricular hypertrophy.

Ingredients

• Losartan potassium 25 mg

Direction

Use only as prescribed. It is generally taken once daily, with or without food, at the dose directed by the prescriber.

Side effects

• Dizziness
• low blood pressure
• increased potassium
• or changes in kidney function may occur.

Precautions

• Do not use during pregnancy because losartan can harm the unborn baby. Monitor blood pressure
• kidney function
• and potassium as directed.
• Tell the prescriber about kidney or liver disease
• dehydration
• potassium supplements
• and all other medicines.
