Indication

For the treatment of hypertension and chronic stable or vasospastic angina.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine 5 mg

Direction

Use only as prescribed. It is generally taken once daily, with or without food, at the dose directed by the prescriber.

Side effects

• Ankle swelling
• dizziness
• flushing
• headache
• fatigue
• nausea
• or palpitations may occur.

Precautions

• Use cautiously with low blood pressure or liver disease. Angina can rarely worsen when treatment is started or the dose is increased.
• Tell the prescriber about pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• heart disease
• and all other medicines.
