Indication
- Constipation treatment - Symptomatic relief of constipation
Ingredients
- Sodium Picosulfate
Direction
Tablets should be chewed or crunched and taken at bedtime or in the morning. Adults take 1 to 2 tablets daily; children aged 12-15 take 1/4 to 1 tablet daily.
Side effects
- Abdominal pain or cramps
- Diarrhea
- Hypokalemia (low potassium)
- Nausea
Precautions
- Do not exceed 8
- 10 days of treatment
- Avoid in inflammatory bowel disease
- Avoid in intestinal obstruction
- Avoid in severe dehydration
- Prolonged use may cause dependence
