Indication
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet, exercise, and weight loss alone do not adequately control blood glucose.
Ingredients
- Glimepiride 2 mg
Direction
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually with a meal; do not crush or chew the tablets.
Side effects
- Hypoglycaemia may occur
- nausea
- dizziness
- headache
- or allergic reactions are possible.
Precautions
- Monitor blood glucose as directed and seek medical advice for signs of hypoglycaemia or allergy.
