Indication

Symptomatic treatment of constipation.

Ingredients

• Sodium picosulfate 5 mg

Direction

Adults: suck or chew 1 tablet at bedtime; if necessary, 2 tablets may be used. Follow the package leaflet or a healthcare professional’s advice.

Side effects

• Abdominal cramps
• diarrhoea
• nausea or vomiting may occur
• especially with excessive use.

Precautions

• Do not use for persistent or unexplained abdominal pain
• suspected bowel obstruction
• or inflammatory bowel disease. Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice.
