Auginal Clindamycin 100 mg + clotrimazole 100 mg per vaginal suppository

Indication

Treatment of vaginal infections involving susceptible bacteria and fungi, including bacterial and fungal vaginal infection, as diagnosed by a healthcare professional.

Ingredients

• Clindamycin 100 mg
• Clotrimazole 100 mg

Direction

For vaginal insertion only. Insert 1 suppository deep into the vagina at bedtime for 7 consecutive nights, or follow the prescriber’s instructions. Do not swallow.

Side effects

• Vaginal irritation
• burning
• itching
• abdominal discomfort
• nausea or diarrhoea may occur.

Precautions

• Use only as prescribed. Avoid vaginal intercourse and tampons during treatment unless advised otherwise. Seek medical advice for severe diarrhoea
• abdominal pain or an allergic reaction.
