Indication

- Medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy - Pregnancy termination up to 63 days gestation

Ingredients

• Mifepristone and Misoprostol

Direction

Take 200mg Mifepristone orally, followed 36 to 48 hours later by 800mcg Misoprostol administered via the vaginal route.

Side effects

• Heavy vaginal bleeding
• Abdominal pain and cramping
• Nausea and vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Fever and chills
• Dizziness

Precautions

• Exclude ectopic pregnancy before use
• Remove intrauterine device (IUD)
• Contraindicated in chronic adrenal failure
• Not for patients with severe asthma
• Requires medical supervision for monitoring
