Indication
- Medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy - Pregnancy termination up to 63 days gestation
Ingredients
- Mifepristone and Misoprostol
Direction
Take 200mg Mifepristone orally, followed 36 to 48 hours later by 800mcg Misoprostol administered via the vaginal route.
Side effects
- Heavy vaginal bleeding
- Abdominal pain and cramping
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Fever and chills
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Exclude ectopic pregnancy before use
- Remove intrauterine device (IUD)
- Contraindicated in chronic adrenal failure
- Not for patients with severe asthma
- Requires medical supervision for monitoring
