Indication
- Short-term treatment of constipation - Bowel evacuation before medical procedures - Relief of hard stools
Ingredients
- Sodium citrate
- Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate
- and Sorbitol
Direction
Administer rectally. Insert the neck of the tube into the rectum and squeeze the container to empty contents, then maintain pressure while withdrawing.
Side effects
- Rectal burning or irritation
- Mild abdominal discomfort
- Diarrhea with frequent use
Precautions
- Do not use with abdominal pain
- Avoid long
- term continuous use
- Consult doctor if symptoms persist
- Monitor for electrolyte imbalance
