Indication
- Emergency contraception after unprotected intercourse - Prevention of pregnancy after contraceptive failure
Ingredients
- Levonorgestrel
Direction
Take one 1.5 mg tablet orally as soon as possible, preferably within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Lower abdominal pain
- Fatigue and dizziness
- Headache
- Changes in menstrual bleeding
Precautions
- Not for regular contraceptive use
- Does not protect against HIV/STIs
- Ineffective if already pregnant
- Consult doctor if period is late
