Indication

- Emergency contraception - Prevention of pregnancy after intercourse - Contraceptive failure or unprotected sex

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel

Direction

Take one tablet orally as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours after unprotected intercourse.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Lower abdominal pain
• Fatigue and headache
• Dizziness
• Changes in menstrual bleeding patterns
• Breast tenderness

Precautions

• Not for regular birth control use
• Will not terminate an existing pregnancy
• Does not protect against HIV/STIs
• Use with caution in liver disease
• Effectiveness may decrease with higher BMI
