Indication
Long-term treatment of asthma and relief of allergic-rhinitis symptoms; prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm.
Ingredients
- Montelukast sodium equivalent to montelukast 5 mg
Direction
Take one 5 mg chewable tablet once daily in the evening for asthma, or as directed by a physician. It may be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Headache or abdominal pain may occur.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms are severe or persistent.
Precautions
- Not for treating an acute asthma attack.
- Discuss mood or behavior changes with a doctor and use only as prescribed.
