Indication

Adjunct to diet for adults with severe dyslipidemia, including high triglycerides or mixed lipid disorders, when appropriate.

Ingredients

• Gemfibrozil 600 mg

Direction

Take exactly as prescribed, commonly 600 mg twice daily about 30 minutes before the morning and evening meals.

Side effects

• Indigestion
• abdominal discomfort
• nausea
• or diarrhea may occur.
• Report unexplained muscle pain or weakness
• jaundice
• or severe abdominal pain promptly.

Precautions

• Tell a doctor about liver
• kidney
• or gallbladder disease and all medicines
• especially statins or repaglinide.
• Use only under medical supervision and ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.
