Indication
Thyroid hormone replacement for hypothyroidism and related thyroid hormone deficiency.
Ingredients
- Levothyroxine sodium 50 µg per scored tablet
Direction
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once daily before breakfast.
Side effects
- Excess thyroid hormone may cause palpitations
- tremor
- sweating
- nervousness
- insomnia
- or weight loss.
Precautions
- Take consistently apart from food and separate from medicines or supplements that reduce absorption
- follow thyroid blood
- test monitoring.
