Indication

Prevention of urate and uric-acid crystal formation in gout and other conditions with excess uric acid.

Ingredients

• Allopurinol 100 mg per tablet

Direction

Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, preferably after food, with adequate water.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• diarrhea
• or rash
• serious allergic skin reactions require urgent medical attention.

Precautions

• Do not stop suddenly without medical advice
• stop and seek urgent care for rash
• blistering
• fever
• or facial swelling. Dose adjustment may be needed in kidney disease.
