Dexacol 20 mg chloramphenicol / 5 mg dexamethasone sodium phosphate per 5 mL

Indication

For infectious or allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, dacryocystitis, iritis, and prevention of pre- and post-surgical eye infections.

Ingredients

• Chloramphenicol 20 mg
• Dexamethasone sodium phosphate 5 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Instill 1–2 drops several times a day. Treatment should not exceed 10 days.

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in allergy to any ingredient
• bone marrow depression
• newborn infants
• viral or fungal eye infection
• ocular tuberculosis
• or glaucoma unless specifically directed by a physician.
