Codalgin Forte 500 mg / 30 mg

Indication

Short-term management of severe pain when other pain-management options have not worked.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Codeine phosphate hemihydrate 30 mg

Direction

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, following the package directions and medical advice; do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Side effects

• Possible effects include drowsiness
• dizziness
• nausea
• vomiting
• constipation
• and allergic reactions. Seek urgent care for slow or difficult breathing
• severe rash
• or swelling.

Precautions

• Do not combine with other paracetamol
• or codeine
• containing medicines or alcohol. Codeine can cause drowsiness
• dependence
• and breathing problems
• ask a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially during pregnancy
• breastfeeding
