Indication
Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever in adults and children weighing 27 kg or more (about 8 years).
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 500 mg
- Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 200 mg
Direction
Take orally. Let the effervescent tablet dissolve completely in a glass of water; do not swallow or chew it. Follow weight-based dosing and avoid taking it late in the day.
Side effects
- Skin redness
- rash
- hives
- purpura
- severe skin reactions
- allergic reactions
- and liver
- test abnormalities have been reported.
- Diarrhea or abdominal pain may occur
- at high vitamin C doses
- digestive or urinary disturbances
- dizziness
- hives
- or rash have been reported.
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to the active substances or other ingredients
- or if you have severe liver disease.
- Do not combine with other medicines containing paracetamol or vitamin C. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney disease
- weigh under 50 kg
- drink alcohol regularly
- are malnourished or dehydrated
- or have G6PD deficiency.
- Avoid taking late in the day because vitamin C may have a mildly stimulating effect
- seek medical advice during pregnancy
- breastfeeding
- or prolonged use.
