Indication
Relief of wet cough and cough due to bronchitis or emphysema.
Ingredients
- Bromhexine HCl 4 mg per 5 mL
- Guaifenesin 100 mg per 5 mL
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mL three times a day. Children 6–12 years: 5 mL three times a day. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal disturbance may occur
- rare effects include allergic skin rashes and vomiting. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Use special precaution in patients with gastrointestinal ulceration
- pregnancy or lactation. Guaifenesin may cause false
- positive urinary 5
- HIAA and VMA results. Store out of reach of children.
