Woods' Peppermint Expectorant 4 mg / 100 mg per 5 mL

Indication

Relief of wet cough and cough due to bronchitis or emphysema.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine HCl 4 mg per 5 mL
• Guaifenesin 100 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mL three times a day. Children 6–12 years: 5 mL three times a day. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal disturbance may occur
• rare effects include allergic skin rashes and vomiting. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Use special precaution in patients with gastrointestinal ulceration
• pregnancy or lactation. Guaifenesin may cause false
• positive urinary 5
• HIAA and VMA results. Store out of reach of children.
