Indication
Relief of non-productive cough due to allergy.
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg per 5 mL
- Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg per 5 mL
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mL three times daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 mL three times daily. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Vomiting
- dizziness
- drowsiness
- and constipation may occur. May cause drowsiness. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 6 years except on a physician's advice. Avoid driving or operating machinery. Use caution with alcohol
- tranquilizers
- respiratory disease
- hepatic disorders
- pregnancy
- lactation
- glaucoma
- and MAO inhibitors.
