Tiril PLUS Paracetamol (500mg), Phenylephrine HCl (5mg), Levocetirizine DiHCl (5mg), Ambroxol HCl (30mg)

Indication

Tiril PLUS is a combination product for symptomatic relief of cold and flu. Paracetamol reduces fever and pain; phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant; levocetirizine relieves allergic symptoms (runny nose, sneezing); ambroxol is a mucolytic that helps loosen chest mucus.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg
• Levocetirizine diHCl 5 mg
• Ambroxol HCl 30 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet 3 times daily with food. Do not crush or chew. Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours.

Side effects

• Drowsiness (levocetirizine).
• Dry mouth.
• Nausea and gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Headache.
• Increased blood pressure or palpitations (phenylephrine).
• Allergic skin reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Do not exceed recommended dose of paracetamol
• risk of hepatotoxicity with overdose.
• Avoid in patients with severe hypertension
• hyperthyroidism
• or ischaemic heart disease (phenylephrine).
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
• May cause drowsiness (levocetirizine)
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
