Indication
Tiril PLUS is a combination product for symptomatic relief of cold and flu. Paracetamol reduces fever and pain; phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant; levocetirizine relieves allergic symptoms (runny nose, sneezing); ambroxol is a mucolytic that helps loosen chest mucus.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 500 mg
- Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg
- Levocetirizine diHCl 5 mg
- Ambroxol HCl 30 mg
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet 3 times daily with food. Do not crush or chew. Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours.
Side effects
- Drowsiness (levocetirizine).
- Dry mouth.
- Nausea and gastrointestinal discomfort.
- Headache.
- Increased blood pressure or palpitations (phenylephrine).
- Allergic skin reactions (rare).
Precautions
- Do not exceed recommended dose of paracetamol
- risk of hepatotoxicity with overdose.
- Avoid in patients with severe hypertension
- hyperthyroidism
- or ischaemic heart disease (phenylephrine).
- Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
- May cause drowsiness (levocetirizine)
- avoid driving or operating machinery.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Do not use with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
