PIMAG Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel 300 mg / Magnesium Hydroxide 300 mg / Simethicone 80 mg per 7 mL

Indication

Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, heartburn, and gastric hyperacidity.

Ingredients

• Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel 300 mg per 7 mL
• Magnesium Hydroxide 300 mg per 7 mL
• Simethicone 80 mg per 7 mL

Direction

Adults: 1–2 sachets 3–4 times a day; children 6–12 years: 1 sachet 3–4 times a day. Shake before use. Take immediately when symptoms occur and repeat 30–60 minutes before or after meals and before bedtime.

Side effects

• Constipation
• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Vomiting

Precautions

• Do not use in serious kidney failure.
• Not recommended for treatment longer than 2 weeks unless recommended by a physician.
• Antacids can reduce absorption of tetracycline and cimetidine
• separate administration by 1–2 hours.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
• Not suitable for patients on a low
• phosphorus diet or with long
• term use.
