PIMAG PREMIUM Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel (600 mg), Magnesium Hydroxide (600 mg), Simethicone (160 mg) per 14 ml

Indication

PIMAG PREMIUM is an antacid and anti-flatulent suspension. It provides symptomatic relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, gastric reflux, bloating, and flatulence. Aluminium and magnesium hydroxides neutralise gastric acid; simethicone relieves gas and bloating.

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide dried gel 600 mg per 14 ml
• Magnesium hydroxide 600 mg per 14 ml
• Simethicone 160 mg per 14 ml

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 dose (14 ml) 3–4 times daily, after meals and at bedtime. Shake well before use. May be taken with water or diluted if preferred.

Side effects

• Constipation (aluminium component).
• Diarrhoea (magnesium component — less common at normal doses).
• Nausea.
• Aluminium or magnesium toxicity (rare
• in renal failure).

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment (risk of aluminium and magnesium accumulation).
• May reduce absorption of other drugs — take other medications at least 2 hours apart.
• Not recommended for long
• term unsupervised use without medical diagnosis.
• Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
