Indication

Used for the relief of symptoms associated with gastric hyperacidity, including heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, and bloating caused by gas. Also used to relieve discomfort associated with peptic ulcers and gastritis.

Ingredients

• Aluminium Hydroxide 200 mg
• Magnesium Hydroxide 200 mg
• Simethicone 25 mg

Direction

Adults: Chew 1–2 tablets 20–60 minutes after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician. Do not swallow whole; chew thoroughly before swallowing.

Side effects

• Constipation (due to aluminium hydroxide).
• Diarrhoea (due to magnesium hydroxide).
• Nausea.
• Chalky taste in mouth.

Precautions

• Do not take more than the recommended dose.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• accumulation of aluminium and magnesium may occur.
• May interfere with absorption of other medications
• separate dosing by at least 2 hours.
• Not recommended for long
• term use without medical supervision.
• Keep out of reach of children.
