Rocgel 1.2g

Indication

Used for the symptomatic treatment of acid-related gastric disorders including gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer, heartburn, and reflux oesophagitis. Acts as an antacid and mucosal protectant.

Ingredients

• Aluminium phosphate 1.2 g per sachet (equivalent to Al2O3 20%)

Direction

Adults: 1–2 sachets (1.2 g each) 2–3 times daily, preferably 1 hour after meals and at bedtime. The sachet should be diluted in a glass of water or taken directly. Shake the sachet well before use.

Side effects

• Constipation.
• Nausea (rare).

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with renal insufficiency.
• May reduce absorption of other medicines
• separate dosing by at least 2 hours.
• Do not exceed recommended doses.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks.
• Keep out of reach of children.
