Indication

Used for the treatment of acid-related disorders including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer, and H. pylori eradication. The 'Insta' formulation is designed for rapid onset of action via an oral dispersion mechanism.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole 20 mg (effervescent/instant
• release formulation)

Direction

Adults: Dissolve or disperse 1 sachet/tablet in water and take before meals, typically once daily. Follow the specific instructions on the product label or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Headache.
• Nausea
• diarrhoea
• abdominal pain
• flatulence.
• Rare: hypomagnesaemia
• bone fracture risk with prolonged use.

Precautions

• Long
• term use may cause hypomagnesaemia and vitamin B12 deficiency.
• May mask symptoms of gastric malignancy.
• Use with caution in hepatic impairment.
• Avoid concurrent use with atazanavir.
• Keep out of reach of children.
