Serepase Tab. Bromelain (40.0 mg) and Trypsin Crystalline (1.0 mg)

Indication

Enzyme tablet used as an anti-inflammatory and proteolytic agent. Indicated for the reduction of swelling, inflammation, and pain associated with post-operative conditions, trauma, and soft tissue injuries.

Ingredients

• Bromelain 40 mg
• Trypsin crystalline 1 mg

Direction

Adults: 1–2 tablets 3 times daily (preferably between meals or on an empty stomach) or as directed by a physician. Swallow whole with water.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal upset (nausea
• diarrhoea).
• Rare: allergic reactions.
• Increased bleeding tendency.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bromelain
• trypsin
• or pineapple.
• Use with caution in patients on anticoagulant therapy (may potentiate bleeding).
• Not recommended in pregnancy without medical advice.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
• Keep out of reach of children.
