Indication
Used for treatment of symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency (heavy legs, pain, restless legs), haemorrhoids, and acute haemorrhoidal episodes. A venotonic and vascular protective agent.
Ingredients
- Diosmin 900 mg
- Hesperidin 100 mg (as micronised purified flavonoid fraction — MPFF 1000 mg)
Direction
Adults: Venous insufficiency: 1 tablet (1000 mg) once daily with a meal. Haemorrhoids acute: 2 tablets twice daily for 4 days then 2 tablets once daily for 3 days, then 1 tablet once daily as maintenance.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea
- diarrhoea) — usually mild.
- Headache.
- Rare: allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Not recommended during pregnancy (first trimester) without medical advice.
- Consult a doctor if rectal bleeding occurs.
- No significant drug interactions known.
- Keep out of reach of children.
