Indication

Used for treatment of symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency (heavy legs, pain, restless legs), haemorrhoids, and acute haemorrhoidal episodes. A venotonic and vascular protective agent.

Ingredients

• Diosmin 900 mg
• Hesperidin 100 mg (as micronised purified flavonoid fraction — MPFF 1000 mg)

Direction

Adults: Venous insufficiency: 1 tablet (1000 mg) once daily with a meal. Haemorrhoids acute: 2 tablets twice daily for 4 days then 2 tablets once daily for 3 days, then 1 tablet once daily as maintenance.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea
• diarrhoea) — usually mild.
• Headache.
• Rare: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Not recommended during pregnancy (first trimester) without medical advice.
• Consult a doctor if rectal bleeding occurs.
• No significant drug interactions known.
• Keep out of reach of children.
