Indication

Non-sedating antihistamine used for the symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis including sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching, and itchy/watery eyes.

Ingredients

• Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 120 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: 120 mg once daily before a meal. Swallow tablet whole.

Side effects

• Headache.
• Drowsiness (rare — considered non
• sedating).
• Nausea.
• Dizziness.
• Rare: tachycardia
• palpitations.

Precautions

• Do not take with fruit juices (grapefruit
• apple
• orange) — reduces bioavailability.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• reduce dose.
• Avoid concurrent use with antacids containing aluminium and magnesium (separate by 2 hours).
• Not recommended in pregnancy without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
