Indication
Non-sedating antihistamine used for the relief of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) including itching and skin reactions, as well as seasonal allergic rhinitis.
Ingredients
- Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180 mg
Direction
Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: 180 mg once daily, taken before a meal. Avoid taking with fruit juices.
Side effects
- Headache.
- Nausea.
- Dizziness.
- Rare: drowsiness
- tachycardia.
Precautions
- Avoid taking with grapefruit
- apple
- or orange juice — significantly reduces absorption.
- Separate from aluminium/magnesium
- containing antacids by at least 2 hours.
- Use with caution in renal impairment.
- Not recommended in pregnancy without medical advice.
- Keep out of reach of children.
