Indication

Non-sedating antihistamine used for the symptomatic relief of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, and other allergic conditions.

Ingredients

• Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mg once daily in the evening, with or without food. Note: Standard levocetirizine dose is 5 mg; 10 mg is used for more severe cases under medical advice.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• somnolence.
• Headache.
• Dry mouth.
• Fatigue.
• Rare: agitation
• urinary retention.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• dose reduction may be required.
• May cause drowsiness at higher doses
• avoid driving or machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years at 10 mg dose.
• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
