RAHAT Dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg + Guaifenesin 100 mg + Bromhexine HCl 8 mg + Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg

Indication

Multi-action cough and cold preparation. Used for symptomatic relief of cough (dry and productive), excess mucus, nasal congestion, and runny nose associated with colds and upper respiratory tract infections.

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg
• Guaifenesin 100 mg
• Bromhexine Hydrochloride 8 mg
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: 1 tablet/dose 3–4 times daily. Children as directed by a physician. Take with water.

Precautions

• May cause drowsiness due to chlorpheniramine
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Do not use dextromethorphan in patients taking MAO inhibitors — risk of serotonin syndrome.
• Use with caution in patients with asthma or COPD.
• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
