Candid-B Cream Clotrimazole 1% w/w + Beclometasone Dipropionate 0.025% w/w

Indication

Combined antifungal and corticosteroid cream used for inflammatory fungal skin infections where both antifungal and anti-inflammatory action is needed. Indicated for tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, and cutaneous candidiasis with significant inflammation and pruritus.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 1% w/w
• Beclometasone Dipropionate 0.025% w/w

Direction

Adults: Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily for up to 4 weeks. Not for long-term use. Discontinue if improvement not seen after 4 weeks.

Side effects

• Local irritation
• burning
• or stinging.
• Skin atrophy with prolonged use.
• Striae
• telangiectasia.
• Rare: systemic effects with extensive application.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid eyes.
• Do not use on the face
• underarm
• or groin for extended periods.
• Prolonged steroid use may cause skin atrophy
• striae
• and systemic effects.
• Not recommended in pregnancy or infants without medical supervision.
• Do not apply to broken or infected skin without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
