UPRO 400 400mg

Indication

UPRO 400 (ibuprofen 400 mg) is an NSAID used for the relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, dental pain, dysmenorrhoea, and musculoskeletal pain, and for the reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 400 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 1 tablet (400 mg) every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 3 tablets (1200 mg) in 24 hours without medical supervision. Take with food or milk to minimise gastrointestinal effects.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal discomfort
• nausea
• heartburn.
• Headache
• dizziness.
• Skin rash (uncommon).
• Fluid retention (uncommon).

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs.
• Avoid in active peptic ulcer disease.
• Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy.
• Use with caution in patients with asthma
• renal or hepatic impairment.
• Do not use concurrently with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
