AkneDerm BP 2.5 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide (BP 2.5)

Indication

AkneDerm BP 2.5 is a topical keratolytic and antimicrobial agent used for the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris.

Ingredients

• Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% w/w

Direction

Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly. Apply a thin layer once or twice daily. Begin with once daily to assess skin tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Side effects

• Skin dryness

• Redness and mild burning on application.
• Contact dermatitis (rare).
• Bleaching of skin pigmentation (rare).

Precautions

• For external use only.

• May bleach hair

• and carpets.
• May cause skin dryness or peeling
• reduce frequency if excessive irritation occurs.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure
