Tramadol 50 50mg

Indication

Tramadol 50 is a centrally acting opioid analgesic indicated for the management of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults.

Ingredients

• Tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg

Direction

Adults: 50–100 mg every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 400 mg per day. May be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to tramadol or opioids.
• Risk of dependence and abuse
• use with caution in patients with history of substance abuse.
• Avoid concurrent use with MAO inhibitors
• SSRIs
• SNRIs (serotonin syndrome risk).
• Avoid in epilepsy or patients with lowered seizure threshold.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Not for use in children under 12 years.
• Avoid alcohol and CNS depressants.
• Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.
