Indication

G-DERM Cream is a topical combination of a corticosteroid (betamethasone valerate) and an antibiotic (gentamicin) for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions complicated by bacterial infection.

Ingredients

• Betamethasone valerate 0.1% w/w
• Gentamicin sulfate 0.1% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily. Rub in gently. Do not use for more than 2 consecutive weeks without medical review.

Side effects

• Skin thinning with prolonged use.
• Burning or stinging at application site.
• Contact dermatitis (rare).
• Striae with extended corticosteroid use.

Precautions

• Not for use on the face
• groin
• or axillae unless directed.
• Avoid prolonged use
• may cause skin atrophy.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Gentamicin may cause sensitization
• discontinue if allergic reaction occurs.
• Not recommended in pregnancy unless clearly necessary.
