Indication
SIVKORT (methylprednisolone) is a synthetic corticosteroid used for the management of inflammatory and allergic conditions including severe asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and other conditions requiring corticosteroid therapy.
Ingredients
- Methylprednisolone 80 mg per vial (or per dose)
Direction
Dosage is individualised based on the condition being treated and the patient's response. Administered by intramuscular or intravenous injection by healthcare professionals. Consult the prescribing physician for specific dosing regimens.
Side effects
- Fluid retention
- hypertension.
- Hyperglycaemia.
- Increased susceptibility to infection.

Precautions

- Avoid in active infections without concurrent antimicrobial treatment.
