Dezor Plus Ketoconazole 2% / Zinc pyrithione 1%; 60 ml

Indication

Treatment of dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp.

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole 2% w/w
• Zinc pyrithione 1% w/w

Direction

Apply enough shampoo to wet hair and scalp to form a lather. Massage for one minute and rinse with warm water; repeat for a further three minutes, rinse, and dry hair. Use twice weekly for four weeks, at least three days apart, then as needed or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Possible effects include hair discoloration
• increased hair loss
• irritation
• altered hair texture
• dry or itchy skin
• and oily or dry hair or scalp.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ketoconazole
• zinc pyrithione
• or an excipient. Not advisable in acute or chronic liver disease. For scalp use only
• avoid eyes. Consult a doctor during first
• trimester pregnancy or breastfeeding.
