Spasfon 4ml

Indication

Spasfon (phloroglucinol) is a smooth muscle antispasmodic used to relieve spasms and pain associated with functional gastrointestinal disorders, urinary tract spasms, uterine cramps, and biliary colic.

Ingredients

• Phloroglucinol 80 mg per 4 mL (20 mg/mL) for injection form
• some forms contain Trimebutine

Direction

Adults: one ampoule (4 mL / 80 mg) by intramuscular, slow intravenous injection, or orally 2–3 times daily, as directed by a physician. Adjust dose based on clinical response.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Allergic reactions (rare).
• Nausea (uncommon).

Precautions

• Do not use in known hypersensitivity to phloroglucinol.
• Use with caution during pregnancy (especially first trimester)
• consult physician.
• Not recommended for children without physician guidance.
• Keep out of reach of children.
